Formula 1's 2023 driver line-ups are now confirmed. Here's a full run-down of the contracts in place, including Nico Hülkenberg's move to Haas and Williams' F2 signing, Logan Sargeant.

Nico Hülkenberg will make an F1 comeback with Haas in 2023; Pierre Gasly moves to Alpine

The 2023 Formula 1 driver line-up is finally complete now that Haas has confirmed that Nico Hülkenberg will return to the grid next year in place of Mick Schumacher.Young American racer Logan Sargeant has also secured his seat at Williams, having finished high enough in this year’s F2 championship to qualify for a superlicence.

He will be the first American driver in F1 since Alexander Rossi in 2015.This year’s silly season was just that, as the traditional summer announcements stretched into winter. Much of the movement was triggered by Sebastian Vettel announcing his retirement, and Fernando Alonso signing to replace him at Aston Martin. Alpine then said that Oscar Piastri would race for the team next year, only for the Australian to deny it and then reveal a deal with McLaren, replacing Daniel Ricciardo.

Alpine finally filled the seat by signing Pierre Gasly from AlphaTauri. Nyck de Vries will replacing him at the Red Bull sister team.As the midfield drama played out, there was stability at the front, where the three top teams will continue into 2023 with an unchanged line-up.Here are the full details on drivers confirmed for next year.
